Alanna Regan (born in Dunhill in 1985) is a camogie player since 2002 with St Anne’s Dunhill and a corner-back and secondary school teacher currently based near Kilmeadan, who is the winner of the Club county medals at various grades back in 2003, 2008, 2008 and 2009.[1][2][3] She was a nominee for the Raheen Woods Hotel Club player of the year Awards in 2006 and 2007 but did not make the cut at the time.
Alanna won three Ashbourne Cups medal with the UL. Alanna is the holder of a large number of honours with the University and she is also an accomplished volleyball player.[citation needed] Alanna captained her club, Dunhill, to their first Senior county championship Title in 2005 and was back into captain again for the 2008 run. She ran a restaurant with her husband.
Family background
[edit]Her father, Mairtin, won All-Ireland Minor football medal and Mairtin is a selector at the club today, while their mother, (Gr)ainne, captured Junior league's medals back in the past.[citation needed]
