Ahmed Mohamed Hesham El-Sayed (Arabic: احمد محمد هشام السيد; born 15 May 2000), known as Ahmed Hesham[1] (أحمد هشام), Ahmed Mohamed,[2] or Ahmed Mohamed Hesham,[3] is an Egyptian handball player who plays for Montpellier Handball and the Egyptian national team.

Career

He first started handball at Heliopolis SC. then played for USAM Nîmes. in 2023 he joined Montpellier where he won the Coupe de France in 2025. Summer 2025 he will join Veszprém KC[4].

National Team

He participated at the 2019 Youth World Championship, where he became Best player[5]. He also participated at the 2019 Junior World Championship. With the Egyptian senior national team he won the 2020 and 2022 African championships. He represented Egypt at the 2021 World Championship, and the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo[2], where Egypt finished at a surprising 4th place. At the 2023, 2025 World Championship he reached the quarterfinal with Egypt.
