Adelaide Metro bus route 100

Adelaide Metro Bus Route 100 is a bus service running in Adelaide, South Australia. It connects the Arndale Centre Interchange with Glen Osmond, passing through several key suburbs and landmarks along the way. The route is operated by Torrens Transit, a division of Transit Systems under the Kelsian Group.[1]

Route

The bus starts at the Arndale Centre Interchange and travels through Woodville Road, past the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, then continues along Holbrooks Road, Marion Road, and Cross Road before reaching Glen Osmond. It runs Monday to Saturday but does not operate on public holidays. Timetable changes sometimes happen during school holidays.[2]

Variations

There are a few variations of Route 100 that mainly operate on school days:

  • 100P runs between Arndale Centre Interchange and Plympton, following a similar path but ending at Marion Road in Plympton.
  • 100B covers parts of the route between Arndale Centre Interchange or Urrbrae Agricultural High School and Brooklyn Park.
  • 100C runs between Forestville and Urrbrae Agricultural High School.
  • 100N connects Urrbrae Agricultural High School and Netley.[3]

Operator

Torrens Transit runs this route. They are one of Adelaide’s main bus operators and are part of Transit Systems under the Kelsian Group. Torrens Transit manages a number of Adelaide Metro routes and plays a key role in the city’s public transport network.[4]
