Adebola Opaleye is a Nigerian digital publisher, writer and founder of DKMNGR, a website that publishes articles on Nigerian history, culture, and current affairs.
Early life
[edit]Opaleye was born in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, and is associated with the Owu Kingdom. Journals kept by Kingdom members contributed to Opaleye's early interest in writing.[1][2]
Career
[edit]In 2010, Opaleye began writing online under the pseudonym "Dakingsman".[3] He later launched DKMNGR, a website focused on essays and cultural commentary. DKMNGR is an independently run platform not affiliated with advertisers or sponsors.[4][5] DKMNGR collaborates informally with emerging writers[6] and publishes articles on Nigerian history, health, education, philosophy, and social issues.[3]
