Abhimanyu (born c. 1964) is an Asian elephant who, from 2020, has been the lead elephant and the carrier of the Golden Howdah at the Mysore Dasara. Abhimanyu is also said to be the leading kumki elephant in India, playing a crucial role in more than 300 elephant captures and more than 80 tiger captures. Abhimanyu was also the lead elephant in the last migration capture operation in Madhya Pradesh, India.[3]
