Abdul Gani
Abdul Gani is a Guwahati based journalist. Since December 2020, he has been associated with The Assam Tribune.[1] Abdul has won Laadli Media & Advertising Award (2015–16) for his reporting on Greater Adjutant Stork conservation efforts by Purnima Devi Barman and her team.[2][3]
Abdul Gani has worked with National Award winning filmmaker Utpal Borpujari in his documentary 'Soccer Queens of Rani'.[4] Abdul has reported on several sporting events including FIFA Under-17 Men's World Cup and international cricket matches. Abdul Gani is a member of Assam Sports Journalists’ Association, a pioneer sports scribes' body in eastern India.[5]
