Abdellah Ouazane (Arabic: عبد الله وزان; born 15 January 2009) is a professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Jong Ajax. Born in the Netherlands, he plays for the Morocco national U17 team.

Club career

[edit]

Ouazane was registered by his father in the amateur club AVV Zeeburgia, before he was spotted by the scouts of Ajax, later joining its academy.[1][2] He has been likened to English midfielder Jude Bellingham in terms of his playing style.[3]

International career

[edit]

Having dual Dutch and Moroccan nationality, Ouazane was called up to the under-15 category of Morocco and the Netherlands. Later, when he was sixteen, he revealed that he had definitively chosen Morocco.[4][5]

In March 2025 he was named in Morocco's squad for the 2025 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.[6] Morocco won the tournament.[7] Ouazane was named best player of the tournament.[8]
