Aabhyanthara Kuttavaali (Malayalam: അഭ്യന്തര കുറ്റവാളി) is a 2025 Indian Malayalam-language comedy-drama film written and directed by debutant Sethunath Padmakumar. The film stars Asif Ali alongside Thulasi, Jagadish, and Harisree Ashokan in lead roles.[2][3]

Production
[edit]Development and pre-production
[edit]The film is directed by Sethunath Padmakumar in his directorial debut.[5] The story is said to be a comedy-drama tackling issues related to patriarchy.[6]
Filming
[edit]Principal photography started in August 2024 in Thriprayar, Kerala.[7] The shoot was completed by early October 2024.[8]
Music
[edit]The music is composed by Bijibal, Muthu, and Christy Joby, with Rahul Raj handling the background score.[9]
Release

[edit]Aabhyanthara Kuttavaali was released on 6 June 2025.[10] The film was initially scheduled to release on 3 April 2025,[11] however, the release was postponed due to financial disputes and other issues.[12]
Legal and financial issues
[edit]Producer Naisam Salam confirmed financial difficulties that have delayed the release.[13] The financier has also approached the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce regarding disputes.[14]
