The 2025 PDC World Cup of Darts, known as the 2025 BetVictor World Cup of Darts for sponsorship reasons, is an upcoming professional darts tournament that will be held from 12 June to 15 June 2025 at the Eissporthalle in Frankfurt, Germany. It is the fifteenth edition of the PDC World Cup of Darts to be staged by the Professional Darts Corporation.
England, this year consisting of Luke Humphries and Luke Littler, are the defending champions after defeating Austria 10–6 in the 2024 final.[1]
Format
[edit]The forty team format will remain. The top four teams will be seeded to the second round, with the other 36 competing in a group stage of twelve groups of three, with one qualifying from each group.[2]
In this format, all rounds are a single match played in doubles format:
- Group stage: Best of seven legs
- Second round, quarter and semi-finals: Best of fifteen legs
- Final: Best of nineteen legs
Prize money
[edit]The total prize money is to remain at £450,000.[2]
The prize money per team will be:

Teams and seedings
[edit]The 40 nations taking part in the tournament were confirmed on 4 March with six nations to be determined by a qualifier: three from a PDC Asia Qualifier, two from a PDC Nordic & Baltic Qualifier and one from a Championship Darts Latin & Caribbean Qualifier.[3]
The Championship Darts Latin & Caribbean Qualifier was won by Argentina who will make their debut with Guyana missing out after two consecutive appearances. [4][5]
After failing to qualify in 2024, India was awarded a wild card, alongside Bahrain, China, Japan, Hong Kong and the Philippines. [3] The PDC Asia Qualifier was won by Singapore, Malaysia and Chinese Taipei, the same three nations as in 2024.[6]
Lithuania and Finland were PDC Nordic & Baltic representatives as countries with players in PDC Order of Merit.[7] Compared to 2024, the only change in the participating nations is India instead of Iceland.
The top four nations based on combined Order of Merit rankings will be seeded to the second round, while the next twelve nations will be seeded in the group stage.[2]
The top two players from nations represented by the PDC Order of Merit were on 13 May.[3]
