2025 FIM Motocross World Championship

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 2025 FIM Motocross World Championship is the 69th FIM Motocross World Championship season.[1]

In the MXGP class, Jorge Prado won his fourth world title in the 2024 season, however, he will not defend his title due to his move to compete in the America-based SuperMotocross World Championship series.[2]

The reigning MX2 world champion, Kay de Wolf, will defend the maiden title he won in the previous season.

Race calendar and results

[edit]

A provisional calendar was released on 10 December 2024.[1] The championship will be contested over twenty rounds in Europe, Asia, South America and Australia.

The planned thirteenth round in Indonesia was cancelled on 6th March, being replaced by a round at a new track at the Kymi Ring in Finland.[3]
