The 1976 Blue Swords Cup (Pokal der Blauen Schwerter) international figure skating championship was held in East Berlin. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles and pair skating.

There were 16 contestants in the women's singles competition.[1] The top three places were awarded to figure skaters from East Germany: Anett Pötzsch was first and Marion Weber second, while 13-year-old Carola Weißenberg placed third.[1]
