Zoran Alilović (Serbian Cyrillic: Зоран Алиловић; born 14 March 2006) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Serbian club Partizan.[2]
Club career
[edit]Alilović signed his first professional contract with his parent club in September 2023. He was then presented to the public with his peers, including goalkeeper Vanja Radulaški, and Vanja Dragojević and Ognjen Ugrešić , also midfielders.[3] After the opening six rounds of the 2024–25 Serbian SuperLiga season, which he played for the Partizan youth team, Alilović was transferred to Teleoptik in September 2024.[4][5] In accordance with the established Regulations,[a] he was available to both teams.[8] He scored three goals for the branch during the autumn part of the season in the Serbian League Belgrade.[9] Alilović was then brought into the Partizan first team by then head coach Savo Milošević,[10] and was given a more concrete opportunity by interim coach Marko Jovanović.[11] He made his debut in a postponed match of the 5th round of the Serbian SuperLiga, against Radnički Niš, in early December 2024. He came on the field replacing Ibrahim Zubairu in the 87th minute of the game.[12] He made his first start for Partizan against that team later that month, in the last competitive match of the calendar year. [13]
International career
[edit]In May 2021, Alilović was called up to the Serbia U15 national team for a two-match international against Bosnia and Herzegovina U15 national team. [14] He continued to play for the senior team, making seven appearances for the Serbia U16 national team, scoring twice.[15][16] He played at the 2023 European Under-17 Championship in Hungary.[17] The Serbian team finished the competition in the quarter-finals, losing to Poland U17 national team.[18] That same year, Alilović also played in a friendly match against the Italy U18.[19]
Private
[edit]Zoran's father, Miloš Alilović, played futsal professionally and then continued his career in the sport as a coach.[9]
Notes
[edit]- ^ According to the Regulations on cooperation of football clubs", it implies the right of a young player to play for a "contracted club" in a lower level of competition in parallel with the parent club, a member of the Serbian SuperLiga. A young player is considered a potential member of the member of Serbia U21.[6] The maximum number of such players from the parent club is limited to 10, up to 5 in the same contracted club. In the second club, only the first team is allowed to play, not for the younger categories. Although colloquially called dual registration, which previously existed, according to these Regulations, players are registered only for the parent club.[7]
