Potential task force?

I originally posted this at WikiProject Hiking trails, but I figured I'd ask here due to the scopes being so similar.

Should a task force or subproject of some sort be created under the topic of National Recreation Trails? I feel like every trail with this designation would be notable and deserves an article, but there are hundreds and hundreds of different trails, so I think more people would be needed to help create and maintain these articles.
