Merge
[edit]Should Wikipedia:Don't hijack references be merged into this page? If merged, the resulting page can be moved to Wikipedia:Hijacking to host both page contents as sections. This allows both to be more accessible and all redirect shortcuts can be pointed to the one page. Thoughts? @GreenC @The Bushranger Frost 16:48, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
- If you can find some way to introduce the essay that ties the ideas together conceptually. The word "hijack" means to unlawfully seize, commandeer, expropriate. These words could be used in an introduction, for the type of activity the essay concerns. Then have sections for classes of hijacking, like article topic, and references. There are probably others, maybe URL hijacking. -- GreenC 17:17, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
- No. Reference hijacking and article hijacking are different things. - The Bushranger One ping only 17:36, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
- Agreed. Two different concepts. —CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {C•X}) 19:10, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
