Private – One or more of the filters triggered are private, and the request needs to be evaluated by an edit filter helper or manager. Looks like a false positive. Nobody (talk) 11:47, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
Pinned – This thread has been pinned and will not be archived until this template has been removed. Looks can be deceiving. Regardless, this filter is reporting too frequently to AIV and I think this specific type of match would be better done as a tag. I'm working on this. Daniel Quinlan (talk) 22:34, 10 May 2025 (UTC)

Done and a change to the filter may be needed. Aydoh8[what have I done now?] 13:16, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- Not much we can do here to reduce these types of FPs. – PharyngealImplosive7 (talk) 23:59, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- @Aydoh8: Unfortunately, there are Scunthorpe problem issues with these regular expressions. Given that we're trying to stop users who try to outsmart these filters, they can't always be fixed without reducing the filters' effectiveness. The only solution is to have false positives reported here, where humans will judge them on a case-by-case basis. Animal lover |666| 07:03, 13 May 2025 (UTC)

- @AxolotlFridge: Could you explain the necessity of this redirect? It dosen't appear plausible to me. quebecguy ⚜️ (talk | contribs) 22:14, 13 May 2025 (UTC)
- I mean, I just made it because I tried to find the page by searching "pee pee twp" and it didn't even show up in the search results, so I figure if someone else does the same they might erroneously draw the conclusion that there isn't a pee pee township article. It's not "necessary", I just figured it wouldn't hurt anything AxolotlFridge (talk) 22:27, 13 May 2025 (UTC)
- I don't think that "Pee pee twp" (case sensitive) is a reasonable search term. If it was created, it would likely find itself at WP:RFD. Aydoh8[what have I done now?] 05:33, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
- thanks boss, didnt realize the titles were case-sensitive. AxolotlFridge (talk) 06:08, 14 May 2025 (UTC)

- Description
- Just adding "citation needed" tag/marker on the second sentence in the section "Darwin's Hypothesis", as well as adding an invisible comment – which was originally supposed to be in the "citation reason" of the tag/marker, but that also triggered the filter the first time. I don't know if adding this was a bad thing or not, but here are the contents of the comment: Since when did Charles Darwin's "Warm Little Pond" became a full on Theory, rather than just a mere musing in his letter to a friend? Also, "Spontaneous Generation" refers to an entirely different and separate hypothesis, which is in no way relevant or related to Darwin's letter. Also, also: what's described here sounds a lot more like one of the more modern hypotheses of Abiogenesis (which BTW, IMO, it seems to me that whoever made this section conflates "Abiogenesis" with "Spontaneous Generation"); IIRC, this is a lot more than what Darwin actually wrote/described.
