Reverted edit
[edit]I undid your edit for two reasons:
1. the lead sentence wording was acccurate, there was no need for a "grammar fix", and if it gets too self-referential it will deleted for sure;
2. "popularised" is not a typo. --cheesewhisk3rs (pester) 16:29, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
- 1.) Fair enough, sorry about that.
- 2.) Sorry, I sort of instinctively went with what my autocorrect said. Apparently "popularized" is the correct spelling in American English - other countries do, in fact, use "popularised." Kiwi2 (talk) 16:36, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
- Wikipedia has the WP:POVNAMING (that's probably not the most applicable policy in this scenario but I don't like digging through rules) policy, so we have templates like {{Use British English}} or {{Use Australian English}}. Considering there's none at the moment, I'll go ahead and add it now. --cheesewhisk3rs (pester) 16:47, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
- Sounds good to me. :) Kiwi2 (talk) 16:49, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
