Since I became active two months ago:
[edit]- I got accused of gaming for fixing hundreds of typos. (One user did apologize for this, which I appreciated.)
- I got a slew of accusations (hounding, gaming, etc.) after I defended another user whose (good faith, sourced) contributions were called “garbage”. No apologies were issued.
- When I thought that due to these issues, Wikipedia needs newer admins who have experience with what newcomers face, and supported two newer editors for adminship, I got accused of trolling by several users. No apologies were issued.
There are some friendly people here, and I greatly appreciate them, but overall, Wikipedia has entirely failed to live up to its stated rules, particularly for newcomers.
