Request for correction related to Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai article

[edit]

Dear Watercheetah99,

I hope you are doing well.

I would like to respectfully request your assistance regarding the session heading and its content "Constituency Project Controversy" on Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai's article. Verified sources confirm that Senator Bomai was not responsible for the borehole and transformer issues raised during the 2021 ICPC review.

The boreholes were Federal Ministry of Works projects, not facilitated by the Senator.

The transformer matter was a post-supply arrangement between CAMTECH and Yobe REB, without his involvement.

Furthermore, even the initial reports did not directly assert responsibility on Senator Bomai.

Kindly assist if possible, in line with WP:V and WP:BLP to ensure the article remains neutral, factual, and accurate.

Hello, Ambukar. There is a fairly clear issue with your presented sources: they are all simple repetitions of Senator Bomai's denial of responsibility. The section already includes a statement from Bomai but you have not brought forward an unbiased source refuting the claims. — Watercheetah99 (talk) 18:03, 26 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Watercheetah99,
Thank you for your response and for your commitment to keeping Wikipedia neutral and accurate. I appreciate your careful review.
Just to clarify, the original source does not actually suggest that Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai was responsible for the water projects. It only links him to a transformer project, which is different from the claims made under the "Constituency Project Controversy" heading.
The content under that section seems to go beyond what the source supports. The additional sources I provided are not only denials but also help clarify the real allocation of the projects.
If you have a moment, could you please take another look at the original source along with the other references? I believe this would help ensure the section reflects the facts more accurately.
Thanks again for your time and contributions.
Best regards,
Ambukar (talk) 07:08, 28 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
