Husein Kadimagomaev (born October 1, 1999, in Grozny, Chechnya) is a professional Swiss mixed martial artist of Chechen descent who competes in the featherweight division. He has fought for international organizations such as BRAVE CF[1] and the Professional Fighters League (PFL).[2]
Early Life and Background
[edit]Kadimagomaev was born in Chechnya, where he began wrestling at the age of seven. When he was ten years old, he moved with his family to Switzerland. There, he continued his athletic development, which later led to a career in mixed martial arts. At the age of sixteen, he began intensive martial arts training, focusing particularly on grappling and striking. He received his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training at the New Legacy Academy in Aarau.
Fighting Style and Training
[edit]Kadimagomaev is known for his versatile fighting style, which combines effective striking with technical grappling.[3] He trains at the renowned UFD Gym in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Professional MMA Career
[edit]Husein Kadimagomaev began his professional career in 2018. Since then, he has competed in various international organizations, including BRAVE CF[4] and the Professional Fighters League (PFL).[5] He has won many of his fights by stoppage – either via knockout or submission.[6]
A notable moment in his career was his fight in October 2024 at the PFL Super Fights against Zafar Mohsen. Originally, the fight was scored as a decision loss for him. However, it was later revealed that his opponent had tested positive for banned substances. As a result, the outcome was changed to a “No Contest.”[7]
