Tyagarah is a locality located in the Northern Rivers Region of New South Wales.

Tyagarah Nature Reserve protects 7km of coastline which runs from Byron Bay and Brunswick Heads. At Tyagarah, you can swim, sunbathe, fish, birdwatch or eat at the picnic area.[2]

The Byron Events Farm is located in Tyagarah, serving as a venue for major events and concerts, including hosting the Byron Bay Bluesfest.[3]

Every spring, whale-watchers gather on the beach, hoping to detect humpback whale mums and their new calves passing by on their way home from the Great Barrier Reef to Antarctica.[4]
