Tessniem Kadiri is a German journalist and presenter of online and TV news.

Tessniem Kadiri was born in Duisburg in 2001 and grew up in Germany and Morocco.[1]

At an age of 19, she worked as an author for the WDR's Die Sendung mit der Maus (The Show with the Mouse). In 2022, she began hosting the ARD online format Atlas a magazine on international topics, as one of the presenters. Atlas is afromat in funk, which targets Generation Z user.[2] Kadiri worked as a writer and presenter for WDR's TikTok format "nicetoknow." She hosted KIKA's sociopolitical children's and youth program neuneinhalb.[3][4]

In 2024, she completed an internship at the ZDF Studio in New York. She was able to complete an International Journalists Program journalism scholarship in Slovenia.

Tessniem Kadiri, Natalie Amiri, Ute Brucker, and Isabel Schayani are the presenting team of ARD's renowned foreign affairs program "Weltspiegel". Kadiri started in 2025, when Andreas Cichowicz after more than 25 years retired.[5][1]
