Way way too many entries that are not Geophysics.

[edit]

These navigational side bars should be focused on the topic, not diluted with "stuff". It should be comparable to {{Geophysics navbox}}. Johnjbarton (talk) 00:05, 5 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Turbulence is not Geophysics

[edit]

Turbulence is a generic topic in fluid dynamics. It is not a subfield of geophysics. The turbulence article uses the word once. Johnjbarton (talk) 15:17, 5 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Template format and content

[edit]

@Tinterest, since you do not approve of the change I made here, please explain how that change "unnecessary spoil[s]" the sidebar. ZergTwo (talk) 23:51, 12 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe "Scientists" could be Geophysicists.
I don't think the other title should be linked to their generic articles. So "Magnetism" not Magnetism, because someone using the side bar to navigate geophysics per the sidebar title should not be sent to a topic outside of geophysics. If we do want links, they should go into corresponding sections of Geophysics like this: Magnetism Johnjbarton (talk) 02:52, 13 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
