– This is to keep in line with NBA award articles, as the titles for most of them no longer include the word “award”. The player may just be referred to as the “WNBA Most Valuable Player” without needing the use of the word “award”. This comes following this discussion from October 2024 and would also be under WP:PRECISION and WP:CONCISE.
