[edit]I removed the following statement, because it is prior history (all pun intended):
- "In the 2005-6 offseason, Hill was mentioned in vague trade rumors between the Cubs and the Baltimore Orioles involving Miguel Tejada."

Requested move 29 July 2025
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: moved per WP:RMNOMIN; anyone wanting this relisted (within a reasonable time) can leave me a note. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 00:07, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
– Clear primary topic per pageviews. Even if we leave out a recent spike where the article hit >30K hits in one day, Rich Hill (pitcher) consistently gets 200-300 hits daily, much more than all other articles combined. As one of the oldest MLB pitchers ever, his long-term notability is also assured. 162 etc. (talk) 21:06, 29 July 2025 (UTC)
