Nemi ships
[edit]Should the Nemi ships be added to this list? I know they were destroyed at the end of WWII, but they had survived up until that point, and records of them were made using semi-modern technology (photos, etc). 98.166.80.206 (talk) 20:23, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
Science or not
[edit]This article appears to be a scientific article and according to the Wikipedia Manual of Style should list SI units first. These are the units used by the scientists who have published the information. Avi8tor (talk) 19:29, 19 June 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, even where maritime archaeologists carefully list the version of feet and inches with which a vessel was built, the SI units are shown first. E.g. both Swedish and Amsterdam feet follow the metres or millimetres (depending on how big the object is) in the 2023 official report on the Vasa. ThoughtIdRetired TIR 21:25, 19 June 2025 (UTC)
