Summary Pop up Window Displays Page for "Feces" instead of This Page

Apologies if I'm not doing this right, I'm a total newbie to Wikipedia editing and talk pages, but if you hover over a link to this article from other pages (I looked at both the Shellac article and the "audio storage" category) the summary displayed is for the article for "Feces" and not this one? The vandalism has been reverted but the vandalised version is still cached for page preview popups. See mw:Manual:Purge. I'll see if I can purge it. GA-RT-22 (talk) 20:46, 27 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I wasn't seeing the problem when it was first reported, so it may be your own local cache. I just purged the cache of this article, if that helps. ~Anachronist (talk) 01:50, 28 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Preservation

@Einsof: Why did you add a cn tag in the Preservation section? There is a source citation and it seems to support the material: "far fewer sharp noise features ... noise level ... is lower". Did you mean to add a "failed verificaton" tag instead? GA-RT-22 (talk) 06:15, 15 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

"Generally produces a better sound than normal playback" is simultaneously a broad an imprecise statement, and I do not think it is supported by the source provided, which is two authors prototyping an optical readback system with a few records. In hindsight I probably would have just removed it, but if it is to be retained then I think it should be clarified and attributed. Einsof (talk) 12:33, 15 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, but digging a bit more it seems this source is about (or related to) IRENE, which we have an entire article for. And our article for laser turntable also does not seem to be linked from this section, but probably should be. Einsof (talk) 15:31, 15 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
