“Far-Right”

[edit]

Why would Wikipedia call Doug Mastriano far right? Seems to be political bias from Wikipedia. And then the “far right” link goes to a Nazi and authoritarian description? The bias at Wikipedia is obvious. 2601:545:8001:35F0:F90C:8DC3:F456:4C17 (talk) 11:48, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

"Far Right" Claim Removal

[edit]

I am Doug Mastriano's nephew, and I can say that in my 39 years of life that my uncle is does not condone nor believe in the ideologies of the "Far-Right". He is however a man of faith (Christian Conservative if you wish to give it a label). Citing bias media articles with clear slander and defamation is not fact, and therefore does not hold up to the "integrity" the wikipedia is supposedly trying to champion. I am very disappointed as I have always looked to Wikipedia as a source for unbiased, objective, fact based information source. As to my credibility to speak on the matter. I also served in the Army, am a Texan, who is married to a woman of color (Latina)... and also a man of faith. By that standard, am I "Far Right"? I don't think so, yet I dont expect to be liked for my beliefs. But that is subjective. So which source is the more credible? A journalist with questionable integrity that writes a an article clearly aimed to defame, weaponizing public opinion? OR A relative that has known him intimately for their entire life? There is bias either way I guess. But I care only for the truth and so should this platform. Therefore I recommend a return to objective fact and truth rather subjective hearsay, gossip, and slander. Its not my website, so the choice is yours. Do you stand on integrity and truth or wish to perpetuate a false narrative? DescipleTex (talk) 13:56, 2 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
