Shubha Thakur

Shubha Thakur is a career civil servant who currently serves as Additional Secretary to the Government of India in Ministry of Home Affairs.[1] She previously served as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare[1] and also as Board of directors of National Seeds Corporation Limited.[2]

Shubha joined the Central Secretariat Service in 1989[3] after qualifying through the Civil Services Examination.

Shubha served as Director in Ministry of Civil Aviation and then served as Joint Secretary to the Government of India in the Ministry of Urban Development[4] and Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare. She was later empanelled and promoted as Additional Secretary to the Government of India in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare.[5]

In 2025, Shubha was posted as Additional Secretary in the Inter State Council Secretariat at Ministry of Home Affairs.[1]
