Shanghai University (SHU) is a municipal public university in Shanghai, China. It is owned by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government.[1] The university is part of Project 211 and the Double First-Class Construction.[1]

Shanghai University maintains four campuses: Baoshan Campus, Jiading Campus, Yanchang Campus (in Jing'an), Xinzha Campus, and Tokyo Campus.[2]
