Seven With Ayala Hasson (Hebrew: שבע עם איילה חסון) is a nightly current affairs program presented by journalist Ayala Hasson on Kan 11 from 6:55 p.m. to 8 p.m. The program debuted in March 2023, when Hasson joined the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (IPBC), airing in the 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. slot from Sunday to Wednesday. The program presents a regular panel of journalists and commentators from Kan Hadashot, the IPBC's news division.[1] With the outbreak of the war in Gaza, the program was extended to two hours (starting at 6 p.m.) and broadcast every night except Fridays. As of September 2024, the show airs Sunday to Thursday from 6:55 p.m. and on Saturday from 5:58 p.m.
Program Format
[edit]The program airs nightly, except for Fridays, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It usually begins with a monologue by Hasson, before the panel of journalists and commentators of Kan Hadashot present the seven o’clock news headlines.
The shows rotating panel members are: Dadi Simchi, Marco Moreno, Aharon Aksul, Gabi Siboni, Mossi Raz, Nadav Haetzni, Uzi Rabi, Yaakov Ben Shemesh, Kinneret Broshi, Pninat Yanai, and Beni Sabti.
