Schönau an der Brend (German pronunciation: [ˈʃøːnaʊ ʔan deːɐ̯ ˈbʁɛnt], lit. 'Schönau on the Brend') is a municipality with 1,378 inhabitants located in the district of Rhön-Grabfeld in northern Bavaria, Germany. The municipality comprises two villages: Schönau an der Brend and Burgwallbach.
