Patrick Edward Dorey FInstP is a British mathematical physicist. He is a Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Durham University.[1]

Education

[edit]

Dorey completed his PhD in 1990 at Durham University, where he was supervised by Ed Corrigan.[2]

Career

[edit]

Dorey returned to Durham in 1993 after working as a postdoc at Saclay and CERN. His main research interest is conformal and integrable field theories.[1] He was elected a Fellow of the Institute of Physics in 2000.[1]

He has also served as a visiting lecturer at the African Institute of Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in Cape Town, South Africa, where he remains an associate faculty member.[3][4]
