The eighth and final season of the My Hero Academia anime television series, also known as My Hero Academia: Final Season, will be produced by Bones Film and directed by Kenji Nagasaki (chief director) and Naomi Nakayama,[1][2] following the story of Kōhei Horikoshi's original manga series of the same name from the beginning of the 40th volume through the end of the 42nd volume (chapters 399–431). The eighth and final season is set to premiere on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV on October 4, 2025.[3] Crunchyroll has licensed the season for streaming outside of Asia as it airs.[4]
