Maeve is a 1981 experimental drama film written and directed by Pat Murphy.[1][2][3][4]A co-production between United Kingdom and Ireland, it premiered out of competition at the 38th edition of the Venice Film Festival.[5] It was the first British Film Institute production to be screened at the Venice Festival.[6]
