A giga coaster is a type of roller coaster with a height or drop of at least 300 feet (91 m).[1] The term was coined during the construction of the Millennium Force, a roller coaster built by Intamin on Cedar Point amusement park.[2][3] Although Morgan and Bolliger & Mabillard have not used the term giga,[4] both have also produced roller coasters in this class.
