Summary

Description
English: Tailrace at Spalding Power Plant and Dam complex in Spalding, Nebraska; seen looking east (downstream). Water is diverted from the Cedar River into a headrace; passes through a hydroelectric generator in the wheel house, whose southern edge is just visible at the left of the photo; and returns to the river via the tailrace. The complex is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
