Object history
Deutsch: Es zeigt das Ortswappen von Büttelborn – einen roten Ziehbrunnen auf goldenem Grund. Davor sind in klein die beiden Ortswappen von Klein-Gerau und Worfelden dargestellt, jeweils die beiden Ortszeichen ebenfalls in rot auf goldenem Grund. Die ursprünglichen Ortswappen von Klein-Gerau und Worfelden haben die umgekehrte Farbgebung – Gold auf rotem Grund. Bei dem Ortswappen von Worfelden (links) handelt es sich möglicherweise um den Reichsapfel mit Antoniuskreuz, beim Ortswappen von Klein-Gerau (rechts) vermutlich um einen (mehrfach gebrochenen) Gerichtsstab. Die Farbgebung aus Rot und Gold geht auf die Grafschaft Katzenelnbogen zurück.
