Deutsch: Der Gemeinderat legte die jetzige Blasonierung mit Beschluss vom 21. Juni 1929 fest.
Object history
Deutsch: In verschiedenen Tingierungen ist das Wappen seit 1548 nachgewiesen, als Gemeindewappen seit etwa 1729. Der Adler soll auf die erste Namenshälfte der Stadt anspielen, während das Mühlerad an die schon 1248 bezeugte Mühle erinnert.
