Summary

Description

The GTS was introduced in 1992, based on the Holden VP Commodore and has been offered as part of the HSV range ever since. (HSV replaced HRT as Holdens performance division) The GTS usually got a more powerful engine and robust drivetrain than other HSV models. the high-performance GTS came standard with 200 kW 5.0l V8 and HSV's premium brake package. The VP GTS was mainly available in a dark charcoal colour, Anthracite with limited numbers available in Maranello Red and Alaskan White It got the front bumper/air dam assembly, rear bumper and side skirts from the VP Commodore Group A SS, rear boot spoiler, grille and wheels are similar to Senator 5000i.

It also got a ’GTS’ decal positioned diagonally across passenger’s side front edge of bonnet, driver’s side rear bumper and between wheel arches on each side door
