Njie is notable as he meets Wikipedia:NPOL "state/province–wide office, or have been members of legislative bodies at those levels" despite not being elected. I would also say even if that did not apply, the significant press coverage he has recieved surely establishes notability. As for the chatgpt thing, I believe the original author might have tried using chatgpt to find sources, but wrote the article themself. Some sources had "utmsource=chatgpt", which is what happens when you click on links directly from chatgpt. I removed those mentions.
