Matt Colville

Article title is miss-spelt. All of Matt's socials has his surname spelled Colville. Happy to move myself when a little more sober than I am right now... Little pob (talk) 19:32, 26 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough, looks like the original creator of the draft did a typo because they also spelled it correctly in the body. I see that Matthew Colville is a redirect to a hockey player, so I don't know if we want to overwrite that or just use Matt Colville. BOZ (talk) 20:28, 26 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Have moved to Matt Colville for now. 3rd-party sources discussing MCDM's RPG books use both short[1] and long[2] forms, though his works (novels, the CR comic, and RPG books) are published as Matthew.

Left 4 Dead

Have checked the refs, and it looks like the Polygon source has been misread. Where says "MCDM was founded in 2018 by Matt Colville, formerly a lead writer at Left 4 Dead and Evolve developer Turtle Rock Studios" it's saying Turtle Rock made L4D and Evolve, and that Matt was lead writer with them for a time. Not that Matt was lead writer for L4D whilst at TRS. Other refs support his input on Evolve though. Will fix. Little pob (talk) 13:29, 3 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
