The Adventures of Cliff Booth is an upcoming American comedy-drama film that is being directed by David Fincher and written by Quentin Tarantino. It serves as a sequel to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), with Brad Pitt reprising his role, alongside Scott Caan, Elizabeth Debicki, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Carla Gugino and Holt McCallany.

Production
[edit]In April 2025, it was reported that David Fincher had been hired to direct a sequel to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), with Netflix acquiring the film from Quentin Tarantino, and that Brad Pitt reprising his role as Cliff Booth, and Leonardo DiCaprio was in talks to reprise his role as Rick Dalton.[2][3] It was reported by Deadline Hollywood later that same month that the film would be called The Continuing Adventures of Cliff Booth and would follow Booth as a Hollywood studio fixer.[4] In May 2025, Elizabeth Debicki was in talks to join the cast of the film.[5] Debicki was confirmed to join later that month, with Scott Caan also cast.[6] Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Carla Gugino and Holt McCallany joined the cast in June. By then the title was shortened to The Adventures of Cliff Booth.[7][8][9]
Filming
[edit]Principal photography is scheduled to begin on July 28, 2025 in California, and it is expected to wrap by mid-January 2026.[1][5][6]
