The Swiss School Of Business Research is a private business school located in Zurich, Switzerland. Established on June 20, 2020, the school offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees primarily through online and distance learning.   • In 2025, SSBR was listed among the Top 10 Most Recommended B-Schools Worldwide by The Education Magazine, in recognition of its innovation in executive education and flexible doctoral programmes.[6]
  • In 2025, SSBR was named Most Innovative Business School by Troomill Magazine[7]

Notable Faculty and Alumni

Several notable alumni have returned to SSBR as faculty members:

  • Andrew Charalambous – British businessman, environmental advocate, and former politician.[8]
  • Dr. Bensson Samuel, MD – A medical doctor and public figure, specializes in fields like Advanced Diabetes Care, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Addiction Medicine, Neuro-critical Care, and Public Health. He earned an MD from Poznan University of Medical Science and is a Major in the U.S. Army Reserve. He now contributes as a senior academic advisor at SSBR.[9]
  • Dr. Miray Zaki – An economist and global investment strategist who has spoken at the UN World Investment Forum and the UK House of Lords. She is currently a professor of finance at SSBR.[10][11][12]
  • Dr. David Richardson – An author and advisor to the Bush administration. Richardson published in 1984 Monte Cassino: The story of the most controversial battle of World War II, co-authored with D. Hapgood.[13]
  • Stephen Thomas, D.S.C. – British Royal Navy officer, decorated combat fighter pilot, and former test pilot. His academic achievements were featured in The Education Magazine, which highlighted SSBR’s innovative doctoral programmes and described Thomas as "a distinguished alumnus whose transition from military command to academic excellence exemplifies the power of lifelong learning."[14]
