Suresh Singh Bhadoria (born 5 September 1959) is an Indian educationist, healthcare entrepreneur, and social worker based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He is the Chairman of the Index Group of Institutions, a group that manages medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy, and law colleges in Central India.[1] He is also associated with several healthcare and public welfare initiatives in collaboration with local government bodies.[2]
Career
[edit]Bhadoria started his career in education management and healthcare services in the early 1990s. He established various institutions under the Index Group of Institutions in Indore, which includes:
- Index Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre
- Index Institute of Dental Sciences
- Index Nursing College
- Index Institute of Pharmacy
- Index Institute of Law
- Index Institute of Management, Arts & Sciences
- Mount Index International School
These institutions are affiliated with Malwanchal University, which was founded in 2016.
Public Health and Social Initiatives
[edit]Bhadoria has been involved in public health outreach programs in Madhya Pradesh. The Index Group of Hospitals conducts free surgeries and medical treatments for economically weaker sections.[3] During the COVID-19 pandemic, the group set up one of the largest COVID care centers in Indore, treating over 13,000 patients.[4]
The group also operates over five "Sanjeevani Clinics" in partnership with the Government of Madhya Pradesh and the Indore Municipal Corporation, providing free primary healthcare services.[5]
Recognition
[edit]Bhadoria received the Naidunia Captain of Industry Award in 2023 for his contributions to education and healthcare infrastructure in Central India.[6] He has also been recognized by various state aut
