Passager Books is an American literary magazine published biannually and dedicated to writers over 50. It features collections of poetry, short fiction, memoir, and a weekly podcast. The publication is based in Baltimore, Maryland, and was founded in 1990 at the University of Baltimore by MFA faculty member Kendra Kopelke. Passager is an indepdendent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It awards a biennial book prize, The Morgenthau Prize, to writers age 70 and older.
Passager hosts writers, readers, and listeners from around the world. It hosts a variety of readings and workshops.
It has been mentioned in the Baltimore Sun,[1] WBJC-FM,[2] Women Over 70,[3] Erickson Tribune,[4] The Beacon[5] and the Poet and the Poem.[6]
