Oscar Requena is a Belizean politician who served as the Minister of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labour and Local Government in the government of Prime Minister Johnny Briceño.[1][2] Requena currently serves as the Minister for Education, Science and Technology.[3][4] He is a member of the People's United Party (PUP), he represented the Toledo West constituency and was instrumental in advancing rural infrastructure, indigenous rights, and labour reforms during his tenure.[5]
