Mohammed Abdul Rasool (born November 14, 1981) is an Indian fine artist and painter specializing in gilding, calligraphy, and large-scale paintings. His work blends traditional techniques with contemporary aesthetics, and he is recognized for collaborations with luxury brands and high-profile clients. Mohammed Abdul Rasool is also a World Record Holder as a Gilding Artist in Dubai.[1][2]
Early life and education
[edit]Rasool was born on November 14, 1981, in Hyderabad, India, and showed an early interest in art, winning competitions by age seven. He pursued formal training at Sri Venkateshwara College of Fine Arts, where he refined his skills in various art forms. His early accolades included awards from the State Bank of India, the Salar Jung Museum, and UNICEF.[3][4]
Career
[edit]After relocating to Dubai in 2005, Rasool gained prominence for his versatility in painting, gilding, and calligraphy. In 2007, he was commissioned to design interiors for a royal family villa in Dubai, marking the start of collaborations with brands such as Emaar, Omniyat, Bugatti, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Edition Hotel.[5]
Rasool is the founder of Rasul’s Gallery, Gold Leafing Studio, and The Calligrapher Studio in Dubai. The companies provide training to the artists. Rasool is also the Honorary Humanitarian Ambassador for the India-UAE Vision.[4]

[edit]- Gilding a 250-square-meter area at Eden Gallery in The Dubai Mall, completed single-handedly.
- Artworks displayed at the Sheikh Khalifa Grand Mosque and Qatar Palace.
- Found Rasul’s Gallery, Gold Leafing Studio, and The Calligrapher Studio in Dubai, which provide the Bespoke Art Materials and Commissioned Artworks for designers and collectors all over the world.
Humanitarian work
[edit]Rasool serves as Honorary Humanitarian Ambassador for the India-UAE Vision, promoting cultural diplomacy and philanthropy through art at Omniyat Center for People of Determination, Dubai.[5]
