Matthew J. Walsh (stylized “MATT WALSH”) (born February 28, 2000) is an American entertainer, producer, performer, and founder of The Matt Walsh Company.[1] He is best known for his nationally touring Michael Jackson tribute show,[2] which has earned him widespread acclaim as one of the most in-demand tribute artists in the United States.[3] Walsh is also a studio owner, former animation prodigy, and creative entrepreneur with professional credits spanning live entertainment, music production, sound design, and media direction.[4]

Early Life and Education
[edit]Matt Walsh was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. Identified early on as a gifted child, Walsh showed a strong aptitude for the arts, particularly animation, cartooning, and music. By the age of 8, he was producing hand-drawn animated shorts and building websites, eventually being recognized as a child prodigy for his ability to accurately reproduce cartoon characters like SpongeBob Squarepants.
Walsh attended Stetson University, where he studied Theatre Arts before leaving to pursue a career in entertainment full time. His early work included directing short films, producing music videos, and developing voiceover content for radio and corporate media.

Since then, Walsh has performed for Fortune 500 companies, celebrity clients, and high-end private events, earning a reputation for his cinematic stage production, authentic choreography, and compelling stage presence. His show, The Michael Jackson Show, has been described as the number one private event tribute act in the U.S., with over 300 performances a year and a perfect 5-star rating across major entertainment booking platforms.
The Matt Walsh Company
[edit]In 2024, Walsh formally launched The Matt Walsh Company, a boutique entertainment and production firm that includes live stage shows, music recording, post-production, and artist development. The company also encompasses Walsh’s private recording studio in Florida, built with a focus on analog synthesizers, vintage gear, and high-fidelity vocal production.
Through The Matt Walsh Company, Walsh has collaborated with World of Dance champions, choreographers, and dancers from the Orlando Magic, among others. His bookings consistently command top-tier rates, and his conversion rate on platforms like GigSalad remains one of the highest in the country.
