Natun Kishore Kantho (Bengali: নতুন কিশোরকণ্ঠ, lit. 'New Teenage Voice')[1] is a monthly magazine in Bangladesh. It is linked to Islami Chhatra Shibir, the student wing of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, It was first published in 1984.[2][3][4]
History
[edit]In 14 February 1984, Kishore Kantho was first published and the founding editor was Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taher, the former Nayeb-e-Ameer (deputy leader) of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.[2][3]
In 2002, Kishore Kantho Foundation, which the magazine is also linked to, was officially registered.[2][3]
In March 2004, the monthly magazine was registered during the rule of the BNP-Jamaat led 4-Party Alliance government and the magazine's official name became 'Natun Kishore Kantho'.[2][3]
