Draft:Jiang Xueqin

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jiang Xueqin is a Chinese-Canadian educator and geopolitical theorist based in Beijing, China.[1][1] He is known for developing a framework he calls "Predictive History", a form of structural historical analysis, inspired by Isaac Asimov's Foundation series. Jiang gained public attention through his YouTube channel Predictive History, where he uploads recordings of his classroom lectures.

Jiang's Geostrategy series gained widespread attention during the Iran-Israel war, particularly Episode 8, titled The Iran Trap.[2] His other series, Civilization, spans 60 videos of his lectures on the narrative evolution of human societies. The series emphasizes the unifying role of religious belief systems as a means of channeling people toward devoting energy bringing about transcendent goals.[3]

Jian's historical analysis focuses heavily on Western civilization, including the narrative legacies of the Iliad and the tragedies of Aeschylus and Euripides, Alexander the Great, Virgil's Aeneid, Dante's Divine Comedy , and of Judaism, Christian eschatology, and Zionism.
